This may be one of the most important albums in my life, second to Master of Reality. Getting a copy of this cassette changed everything for a young me discovering heavy metal and punk rock. Where Black Sabbath taught me the basics of how to play heavy music, Black Flag taught me that it is my right to carve my path in a world that makes me feel out of place. I am in control of the ship and no one else needs to understand. They can catch up later or not at all.
