Genre bending could begin to describe how these songs weave together with style and grace yet it limits the justice and praise this album deserves. The musicianship is leaping off the charts on all counts. Mixtures of clean and aggressive vocals showcase extreme control and assist the listener down a prog rabbit hole. Purposely built upon a metal dynamic and repeatedly broken apart, like a shattered mirror into a thousand shards. Each piece sharp enough to slice and mutilate before the exposure connects nerve to pain.
