Beck - Odelay LP
To my knowledge, everyone I know in my friend circle appreciates Beck for walking his own path. It is also very true that few of those friends ever shout, "Hey man, let's listen to that Beck album!". How his album works were not played frequently in my teenage years is beyond me. As I reflect on the 90's, it was very likely that he was featured on MTV and everywhere else so often that it was easy to avoid at the record store. A simple victim of his deserved success and being overplayed. We never changed the channel on him, though! The past few months have sent me down a serious rabbit hole for his releases.
