Many people turn to this album in a time of crisis. Rightly so because it is an absolute monster. The way the band shifts gears is pretty amazing while Rollins screams out in agony. It is unlike any other record of its time in the punk rock community. Imagine a droning, free jazz direction at times but still rooted in absolute punk rock. This may be where the tides turn for the band.
