There is a subtle beauty to this album that can turn on you at any moment. Like a brittle sandpaper that, when gently brushed by the fingers, can feel full of texture, interest and somewhat welcoming as a new sensation to our usual encounters. There is also an underlying knowledge that too much pressure or a sudden shift in balance could find this same texture capable of ripping the flesh from bone.
This is the navigated direction, like a magnetic calling, that burndy has chosen to cut through.
