There are a lot of layers to the work of Captain Beefheart. This may have been discussed here already but it's my favorite in the discography with its groovy, funk soaked, 70's rock. There is truly no one else like this. If you have no clue where to go, this is a terrific starting point to the offbeat world of the Magic Band.
