This has long been one of my favorite Beefheart albums. Where he pushed boundaries and did countless cool things in his discography, this is the one I recommend as a starting point. It's been featured on our podcast a few times. Now it's back in print in limited quantity. Do yourself a favor and grab one if you like funky, bluey rock and roll.
