CASPAR BRÖTZMANN MASSAKER - it’s a love song
(ambient, abstract, experimental)
(Germany)
(Exile on Mainstream / Corbett vs. Dempsey)

With what feels like soft waves from distant waters, it’s a love song by the Caspar Brötzmann Massaker slowly pulls our ears into the cold darkness to welcome the rising tide.

There is no big riff coated in distortion. No wall of amplifiers. There is no balance of rhythm to generate a nodding of the head. The abstract structures drift and contort yet bring subtle peace and tranquility within their sinister undertones. Where one listener may find discomfort, there is an open book of peace pouring out for another.

The art presented here is an impressionistic resistance.
