David Bowie - Blackstar

David Bowie - Blackstar

David Bowie - Blackstar LP

It is absolutely poetic the way this album was released. The music is some of my favorite Bowie music to be released in many years and his immediate demise directly after it's release added to such emotional power behind it's arrival. It's as though he used the last of his universal energy to align the cosmos and make this thing happen a specific way. If someone reading this has yet to hear it, please consider giving it a listen. If you are open to a small dose, you can hear a track featured on our podcast episode 227 where he is nestled in among some damn fine company in the playlist.

Something happened on the day he died. Spirit rose a metre then stepped aside. Somebody else took his place, and bravely cried. (I'm a blackstar, I'm a blackstar)… https://open.spotify.com/album/2w1YJXWMIco6EBf0CovvVN?si=a70914nVRQOYvjW3F2o_BA
