There is a sense of controlled oblivion in these songs that resonate with the heaviness of emotions unrested in the soul.
Somewhere inside stirs an unexplained impulse. It shows itself when standing on the edge of a massive cliffside in view of a large stone. We lift it to throw or we push this hunk of earth over the edge. The chaotic urge matches the velocity witnessed as it picks up unharnessed energy. The resulting destruction of everything in its path is somehow exhilarating. Perhaps this stone is ejected from the hillside with such force it explodes in mid air or maybe it stays together as an assault in motion. The eruption that occurs when it meets the ground level destination is similar to the explosive heaviness of Dead Now.
No time is to be wasted when digging into these heavy hitters. Dead Now perfectly describes this powerhouse who has set the volume beyond eleven.
