No need to mince words here because the Liminality / Dream State Return EP by Elder has all the flavor to back up any praise offered here.
Take the road less travelled through sonic soundscapes and floaty, dream state vibes that dance on the borders of heavy music. While it is clear that the undertones contained are very monstrous, the overall vibe delivers a delicate warmth that wraps the listener in color and texture. Add a few ripping guitar attacks here and there to accent the tone for good measure.
Another amazing EP released this year that has dwarfed many of the full length albums I have so thoroughly enjoyed.
