Swirling around in my library of heavy metal, mind melting jazz and strange ambient music lands a copy of Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu. Of the unknown pounds of records randomly placed around my house, many of them pale in comparison to the might of this release. Thank goodness this has been reissued for new ears to discover. This one lands in one of my top 10 essential record picks topics discussed in record groups almost daily. File under essential listening.
