Slightly funky, slightly punk rock and a whole lot of jam. Firehose has a bitter sweet tone as a listener. It was formed after the death of D Boone and is still rooted in the Minutemen elements. It is great to know these albums exist because it is a testament to bandmates healing and moving forward. Not to sound completely somber. They do have a special quality that stands on their own and these albums are fun.
