Cranking the amplifiers up and totally dodging the stoner rock cliffs that could easily pull an unsuspecting group over the edge, As Far As Far by Found Footage digs deeper into a sludge based grunge than most who try to associate with the genres.
The vocal presence is cleanly aligned with the consistent push of the band's songwriting. There is a light hint of noise rock and even more slightly, we find a touch of math rock. Think of it as the canvas base that allows them to paint images of well aged and cracked brick.
It's heavy, consistent and not abusive in the slightest. Fine art, in my opinion.
