At a point where the world seemed to be exploding with aggressive crossover between punk rock and heavy metal, out stepped Fugazi with seven songs leaning in a totally different direction that still resonate as deeply with listeners today as their first listen. Still unique and unmatched. I can respect the band standing ground against violence at shows. The album cover showcases how emotionally driven the material is to the band. That is clear evidence of how easy these songs could whip a crowd into a frenzy.
