Refusing to separate from raw emotion, The Pornography of Ruin by Hush has developed the artistic skill to acknowledge and confront demons with every hypnotic moment.
Feeling equally cathartic and enraged, these songs paint a canvas of dark internal struggle. Light shining from behind the mountain top as we stand in shadow. Its rays are not yet allowed passage to shine upon the face of the one who so longingly seeks it. Like the restitute longing of the vampire to be released, to know they will never feel the warm touch of that sun, only fear and anger swirl internally. Hope and desire, unattainable yet present. Feeling stripped of the will to move forward but not yet halted, every devastating riff that is emitted breaks down the anxiety and paranoia as we push ourselves forward.
Be it our immortal end or the beginning of a new path, our face will be touched by the sun once again.
