Overflowing from the rim of their psychedelic doom chalice, the Be My Guide EP by Mars Red Sky bubbles over with seductive grooves.
It's as though we are drinking nectar made from forbidden fruit of the gods. Have they allowed us mere mortals such privilege? These songs are monstrous in tone yet smoothly implemented like a subtle narcotic into the bloodline. The riffs are warm and comforting, as though a weighted blanket swaddling us in pleasure to ease our burdens.
Let us all hope for more of such addiction to flow into our lives sooner, rather than later.
