The first album from unconventional Warsaw, Poland-based power trio SPECIES, To Find Deliverance, leveled us with its rare blend of technical thrash prowess and unorthodox but highly inspired songwriting, enough to make 20 Buck Spin’s Best Of 2022 album list. Out of that list a collaboration was born, and now SPECIES is poised to make their label debut with their incoming second album, Changelings, also marking the first Polish act to sign with the label.
Finnish melodic death metal powerhouse BEFORE THE DAWN are pleased to unveil their newest single, “Shockwave.” The fierce track comes off the band’s new studio album, Cold Flare Eternal, set for release on September 5th via Reaper Entertainment.
Had Green Carnation never returned from hiatus during the mid-2000s, the Norwegian band would've been remembered for completing one of the most ambitious individual epics in metal's archives. But with their upcoming new album, the progressive metal auteurs are setting sail on a three-part journey that's two decades in the making. A Dark Poem, Part I: The Shores of Melancholia is the first in a trilogy of albums that promises to take new and lifelong fans to the highest tops and darkest of inner rooms.

HOWLING GIANT drop the gloriously catchy 'Canyons' from the cosmic stoner metal trio's forthcoming album "Crucible & Ruin". The third full-length by the Nashville, Tennessee band is scheduled for release on October 31, 2025, via Magnetic Eye Records.
Experimental metal trio AGENBITE MISERY has released the first single from their forthcoming debut album Remorse of Conscience. Titled "Bellwether and Swine," this is the first look into the band's genre-defying literary adaptation of James Joyce’s Ulysses.
"Bellwether and Swine" was self-recorded and produced by the band, with mixing by Eric Sauter and mastering by Brad Boatright. It is the first of five singles to be released ahead of Remorse of Conscience, which arrives February 6, 2026.
New York City classic/hard rock outfit TEN TON MOJO was just featured on the massive Humans Of New York photoblog, following the recent release of a live album and subsequent new single.
GOD ALONE will release their addictive new full-length, The Beep Test, on October 10th via Prosthetic Records.
Connecticut’s self-deprecating noise rock entity INTERCOURSE have released their third single, 'Another Song About The Sun', a jagged, soul-stripping track taken from their forthcoming full-length, How I Fell In Love With The Void, on 12th September via Brutal Panda Records.

Atlanta-based transcendent post-doom architects INSOMNIAC (with members of Zoroaster, Deceased and Avedissian Pickups) present their new single "Awakening", in memory of their recently departed guitarist and vocalist Mike Morris. Their debut album "Om Moksha Ritam" will be issued on September 5th via Blues Funeral Recordings.
Hot on the heels of the release of their live album La Suspendia Live, The video performance of the jazz metal opera at Le Forum (Vauréal, France) on November 16th, 2023, will be available in video form. The audio of the live performance is also available on all streaming platforms..
