This week is dipped in heaviness. With Halloween around the corner, it is no surprise. Buckle up. Lets dig in!
Emerging with a labyrinthine work of creativity constructed with an intensity both unrelenting and precise, VOIDCEREMONY returns with their signature sound, an abstract and scathing zone of musical obscurity rife with cynicism toward humanity. Abditum, the third full-length album, unfurls with a sense of arcane design where twisting riffs clash and converge in unforeseen sequences.

Blackened death/thrash metal project MORBIKON will unleash their Lost Within The Astral Crypts full-length on November 21st via Tankcrimes.
The creative effort of guitarist/bassist Phil “Landphil” Hall (Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse, Iron Reagan) with Mathias “Vreth” Lillmåns (Finntroll, …And Oceans) on vocals, MORBIKON is guided by the second wave of Scandinavian black metal and melodic death metal scenes of the ‘90s. The band released their debut full-length, Ov Mournful Twilight, in 2022 via Tankcrimes. Wrote Angry Metal Guy, “Ov Mournful Twilight manages to be both trve as fvkk and fvn as fvkk. Here lie eight meloblack rippers, each one calibrated to bring winter to your soul and whiplash to your neck.” Teeth Of The Divine concurred hailing, “a scorching hellfire display of blackened death thrash metal, that in many ways is fresh sounding, as well as paying homage to some of the earliest purveyors of the ‘80s/’90s scene.” Added No Echo, “Vreth's vocals sound as tortured and evil as ever; his raspy screams, breathy hissing, and primal growls grab your attention like a cold breeze on your neck.”

On November 26th internationally, DARKNESS SHALL RISE PRODUCTIONS is proud to present FESSUS' highly anticipated debut album, Subcutaneous Tomb, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.
ROTTEN, FOUL, DERANGED!

With more than 1 billion streams and features in the History Channel TV show Vikings, Danheim has become a cornerstone for Nordic folk, Viking and World music alongside Heilung and Wardruna. On his upcoming ninth album and first since signing with Season of Mist, producer Reidar Schaefer Olsen is continuing to evolve the Nordic sound by journeying home.
Today, Danheim is releasing “Stormdans” as the second advanced single from Heimferd. With drums that roll like thunder and strings that swirl with all the silent anticipation of dark clouds on the horizon, the song embodies the tension at the heart of the album between restraint and release, destruction and renewal.

Taking cues from classic doom bands like Sleep, Acid King, and Electric Wizard, as well as contemporary acts like Monolord and Telekinetic Yeti, Bonebag Records is thrilled to announce the debut album from rising stars, Skogskult.

“Nomad” is the latest single from mathcore trio PUPIL SLICER. The ferocious new track comes by way of the band’s Fleshwork full-length, set for release on November 7th through Prosthetic Records.

Seven years on from Phobiate, and following a prolonged three-plus-year production period haunted by personal unrest, we bring you BINAH's third album, Ónkos. Divided into two side-long acts, Ónkos takes a deep dive into the processes of illness, loss, and some of what is left (and sometimes exacerbated) in their wake. It is the result of a raw attempt to capture, verbalize, and make sense of these themes almost in realtime. The album was once again recorded by the band, engineered by Aort with input from I.R.G., and illustrated by Jaume Mayans. An honorable mention goes to A. Carrier, who, after a decade of battering service, has vacated the stool to pursue his personal projects. On this new adventure, BINAH are joined by old comrade Storm (Thine, My Dying Bride, Blasphemer, Bal Sagoth, and many others). Having already performed onstage 16 years ago in Germany as part of Code's one-off 2008 live lineup, this album marks their first recording together.

INNERWISH's "Defend Our Children’s Hope" is a powerful tribute to the next generation, urging us all to take responsibility for their future and defend their right to hope and opportunity. With their signature blend of driving riffs, soaring melodies, and anthemic choruses, INNERWISH deliver both a poignant message and a timeless heavy metal hymn.

Spotlights release Rarities, a remastered nine-song compilation of early and rare tracks spanning the band’s full discography on Nov. 21 via Ipecac Recordings.
A preview arrives with “050809”, the first song the now married Mario and Sarah Quintero ever wrote together. “Sarah and I had been talking about making music together before we were even dating,” Mario shares. “05/08/09 is the day we became an item.”
Rarities traces the band’s evolution, from their debut single to standout tracks from their 2023 Séance EP. After relocating from San Diego to New York in 2013, the band released their first EP, Demonstrations, in 2015. That was followed by the Spiders EP and their full-length debut, Tidals, in 2016 – releases that drew attention from artists like Deftones, Shiner, If These Trees Could Talk, and ultimately led to their signing with Ipecac Recordings.

To mark the announcement, the band has shared the crushing new single “Front Door Phobia feat. Johnny Booth” alongside its official music video.
