Let's dig into this!
Lamb of God return with “Sepsis” (https://Lamb-of-God.lnk.to/Sepsis), a visceral, menacing new single out now via Epic Records, marking the GRAMMY® Award-nominated band’s first new original music since 2022’s critically revered album, Omens.
Produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, the three-and-a-half minute track arrives alongside a grainy, lo-fi performance video (https://lamb-of-god.lnk.to/sepsisofficial) that offers a moody, unfiltered look at Richmond’s underbelly. Directed by Gianfranco Svagelj, the video captures the song’s slow-burning tension.
“’Sepsis’ is a celebration of the very underground local bands here in Richmond that we really admired when we were just forming Burn the Priest,” Mark Morton shares. “Bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger—though they never got widespread attention outside of Richmond, those were the bands we listened to all the time. The song references that stuff in a way that’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our earliest material together.”

West Coast crossover crew DEAD HEAT will release their crushing Process Of Elimination full-length October 10th on their new label home of Metal Blade Records!
Process Of Elimination follows the band’s critically-lauded 2023 released Endless Torment EP. The record serves as a continuation and progression musically, while thematically it often touches on DEAD HEAT’s disdain for the powers that be. “I feel like unconsciously the music has become more complex with the songwriting and how we play live as well. We all naturally wanted to become better musicians and it shows in our music and live presence,” elaborates guitarist Justin Ton. “Our music is a metal/hardcore twist, but I’d say we intentionally leaned more and more metal in our sound.”

I Know How To Die is the debut full-length album from Leeds, UK, based songsmith GREET (aka Matthew Broadley). The enchanting dark folk sound evokes the dynamic, awe-inspiring and untamable landscape found in surrounding county of Yorkshire. GREET blurs the lines of traditional folk and drone, diving further into the worlds between reality and fantasy. Through this is created a wonderfully unique cinematic and doom laden atmosphere.

Revered avant-garde doom acts BELL WITCH and AERIAL RUIN have confirmed their much anticipated second collaborative album "Stygian Bough Vol. II" will be released November 14th via Profound Lore. Pre-orders are available now via https://orcd.co/ek5joa4.
Today, the bands have revealed the first released track, 'Waves Became The Sky'.
"We’re thrilled to unveil 'Waves Became the Sky' today," says BELL WITCH's Dylan Desmond. "It is a well rounded introduction to Stygian Bough Volume II, with lyrical references to several albums in our catalog. Most predominately it recalls 'Rows (of Endless Waves)' from Bell Witch’s debut Longing which is, fittingly, where Bell Witch and Aerial Ruin first collaborated."

Ragana and Drowse have released the title track from their upcoming collaborative album Ash Souvenir, out November 14 on The Flenser.
“Ash Souvenir” is a slow-burning reflection on grief, memory, and the pull of returning home. Written and recorded in the Pacific Northwest, the song builds from quiet restraint to overwhelming intensity, with layered vocals and raw emotion carrying through every shift in tone.

“Purge” is the latest video/single from atmospheric sound alchemist KARITI. Now playing at Everything Is Noise, the track comes by way of KARITI’s latest full-length, Still Life, set for release on November 7th through Lay Bare Recordings.
KARITI (карити) – meaning “to mourn the dead” in church Slavonic – is the emotional and creative outlet of Ekaterina, a Russian-born poet and songwriter based in Italy.

Following the release of his striking debut album "Consideration" in September, WDNHF, the solo project of HIGH FIGHTER drummer Thomas Wildelau, unveils a brand-new music video for “The Procedure.” The clip, available now on YouTube, continues Wildelau’s artistic vision with haunting imagery and a deeply reflective tone.
The track and its visuals dive deep into questions of existence, meaning, and transformation, carrying forward the project’s darkly reflective atmosphere.

For the second single from the companion album "Best of Nine Inch Nails Redux" that will be released parallel to the forthcoming MER Redux Series installment "The Downward Spiral Redux", sludge metal outfit THOU from Baton Rouge, Louisiana pay an ultra-heavy tribute with their cover of the NIN track 'Suck'.
Parallel to the companion album "Best of Nine Inch Nails Redux", Magnetic Eye Records will release "The Downward Spiral Redux" that contains 14 cover renditions of the original album tracks in sequence, recorded by some of the most compelling artists in hard and heavy music today.
