Let us begin!
Indoor Enthusiast, the outstanding third record from TUESDAY THE SKY, the instrumental-driven project from guitarist Jim Matheos, October 24th via Metal Blade Records!
TUESDAY THE SKY has been described as a “beautifully weird solo project” by Sonic Perspectives, while Dead Rhetoric dubbed it a “kaleidoscope of atmospheric songs.” With eleven songs of pure Matheos-patented playing and passion, this year’s Indoor Enthusiast features Dutch drummer Dennis Leeflang on “The Nearest Exit May Be Behind You,” “Bend Toward Light,” and “Set Fire To The Stars.”

GHOLD PUSH THEMSELVES TO THE BRINK ON BRAND NEW ALBUM BLUDGEONING SIMULATIONS, THEIR MOST VERSATILE, EXPLORATIVE AND HEAVIEST WORK TO DATE
Revered stalwarts of the UK heavy underground GHOLD make their long awaited return with brand new full length studio album Bludgeoning Simulations, to be released on November 14th 2025 via rising DIY label Human Worth. The amorphous sludge metal outfit have forged Bludgeoning Simulations in a furnace of anxiety and neurosis, finding a brutal treatise on themes of loss, abjection and isolation. Forged out of tense and troubling times for each of the band members, Ghold have pushed themselves to their creative brink to deliver their heaviest and most menacing work, and their most experimental and textured compositions to date. Recorded in a remote windswept studio in the Welsh valleys by acclaimed producer and engineer Wayne Adams (Petbrick, Big Lad), Ghold have realised a labyrinthine, cerebral sonic altar. Bludgeoning Simulations feels like both a bringing together of everything Ghold have accomplished thus far, and also the sound of a band bravely treading new waters. The result is their most versatile, surprising, explorative and heaviest artistic statement.

Astronoid release “Love Weapon” (https://youtu.be/yTsLnMuWBPs), the second single from their eagerly-awaited new album, Stargod, arriving Nov. 7 via 3DOT Recordings.
The track arrives with an intimate performance video featuring the band at Blackheart Sound, a New England recording studio housed in a historic mill building.

London-based noise experimenters Troy The Band return this month with an amorphous blend of doom, shoegaze, and metal, releasing their first single since last year’s acclaimed album, Cataclysm.
Their highly anticipated sophomore record, titled (des), is due for release in 2026, and is heralded by the arrival of new single ‘Porous’ later this week, featuring vocals from former Dead Witches singer Soozi Chameleone. Enveloping listeners in a wall of sonic energy, it showcases Troy The Band’s mastery of monstrous riffs, soaring guitars, and commanding vocals.

UK death metal stalwarts INGESTED today drop their new stand-alone single, “Nefarious Tongues.”
Lyrically, the punishing track explores the decay of morality in a world consumed by vanity and self-interest. It reflects on the way society devours itself through ego and exploitation, as if we’re willingly feeding the very forces that will destroy us. It’s both a condemnation and a reminder of how easily we can lose sight of what truly matters.

ADUANTEN's new EP, Apocryphal Verse, is out NOW - have you listened yet? Featuring members of acclaimed acts Obsequiae, Vex, Panopticon, and Horrendous, this could be an urgent late-year addition that has the musicianship and profound melancholy to sneak into your "Top Albums of 2025" lists.
To celebrate the release of the EP, the band has also launched a video for the track "Cerulean Dream," which can be streamed here: https://youtu.be/sR2DwsbrEgM

Canadian heavy psych doomers PALE HORSE RITUAL return with “Holy Lies”, the latest single from their forthcoming album Diabolic Formation, arriving November 28 through Black Throne Productions. Bold and unflinching, the song pulls no punches as it confronts centuries of religious power structures and the human cost left in their wake.

Symphonic melodeath storytellers ATAVISTIA are set to return with The Winter Way (Reforged), a magnificent re-recording of their 2020 album, on December 12 via Blood Blast Distribution. Lead single “The Atavistic Forest (Reforged)” roars straight into the first verse, no intro needed. Charging riffs and ferocious vocals briefly give way to gorgeously atmospheric soundscapes, then ramp up the intensity as the sonic labyrinth whirls onward. Intended to be a powerful introduction to ATAVISTIA's new songwriting, performance, and production capabilities, "The Atavistic Forest (Reforged)" has been reworked more than any other song on the album. The band also revised the song's lyrics for clarity and thematic consistency, demonstrating an exacting attention to detail that showcases the care they put into each release.

“Ghoul Infested Mausoleum” is the latest single from blackened death thrash project MORBIKON. The harrowing new hymn comes by way of the band’s Lost Within The Astral Crypts full-length set for release on November 21st via Tankcrimes.
