Experimental metal trio AGENBITE MISERY have released “A Charitable View of Temporary Insanity,” the latest track from their forthcoming debut album Remorse of Consciousness, due out February 6, 2026.
Serving as the emotional centerpiece of the record’s first half, the song is a sprawling meditation on death, memory, and inner turmoil. It adapts the “Hades” episode from James Joyce’s Ulysses, in which protagonist Leopold Bloom journeys through Dublin to attend a funeral while reflecting on personal loss. With lyrics drawn directly from Bloom’s internal monologue, the band translates Joyce’s psychological density into a massive, genre-warping composition.
Taking cues from classic doom bands like Sleep, Acid King, and Electric Wizard, as well as contemporary acts like Monolord and Telekinetic Yeti, Bonebag Records is thrilled to announce the debut album from rising stars, Skogskult.
Emerging from the northern shores of Poland, HÉR are both seekers and storytellers. Their upcoming debut album, Monochrome, weaves bowed strings, raw incantations and entrancing percussion into ritual soundscapes that conjure the vast and mythical landscape of the North. The album’s lead single, “Needles and Bark”, calls on the enduring spirit of Icelandic fjords and Old Norse myths, inviting us into a meditation on decay and endurance.
