To commemorate the induction of the legendary SOUNDGARDEN into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, alternative rock collective KING ULTRAMEGA have unleashed a powerful new rendition of "The Day I Tried To Live", featuring SOUNDGARDEN's Kim Thayil, with Alissa White-Gluz of ARCH ENEMY, Mark Menghi of METAL ALLEGIANCE, and Charlie Benante of ANTHRAX. "The Day I Tried To Live" is also featured on a 2-song LP release that also features KING ULTRAMEGA's rendition of the SOUNDGARDEN classic "Rusty Cage". KING ULTRAMEGA crafted this single in loving memory of legendary vocalist Chris Cornell, while raising funds and awareness for MusiCares, which is the Recording Academy’s nonprofit that provides mental health, addiction recovery, and emergency services to those in the music community.

Fleshwork, the crushing new full-length from UK mathcore trio PUPIL SLICER, is out now and streaming on Prosthetic Records!

Describing Fleshwork as “conceptual” but specifically not a concept album, PUPIL SLICER leans into creating an all-encompassing industrial hellscape; a perfect setting to explore the societal machinations that dehumanize and devalue the poor, disabled, queer, and people of color for political and financial gain. Drawing on personal experience, vocalist and guitarist Kate Davies details the disconnect and discomfort of navigating this life, and the substantial human, day-to-day cost of doing so.

Lamb of God, who recently released their first new music in three years with the single “Sepsis,” have shared a riveting live video capturing the song’s explosive debut in front of tens of thousands of fans at Aftershock Festival.

Directed by Sam Shapiro and Kevin Garcia, the performance took place just one day after the song’s release. Before launching into the three-and-a-half-minute track, Randy Blythe introduced it, saying, “This song is about a national sickness,” as John Campbell, Mark Morton, Willie Adler, and Art Cruz, joined in as the crowd erupted.

The UK's most exciting new heavy band, HERIOT, have released their new single 'Commander of Pain'.

Debbie Gough (vocals/guitar) comments: "'Commander of Pain' is an ode to 90's death metal. This is a song born of the inspiration we’ve gained from playing live alongside many different genres of metal bands. We wanted to write a track paying tribute to our favourite aspects of heavy music.'"

From the ashes of Crown, rises a dark new wave of industrial rock. On Your Inland Empire, the duo of Stéphane Azam and David Husser take the heavy electronics that they first donned on Crown’s last album a step further into a dark night of the soul.

Your Inland Empire are released “Edge of Perfection” as the third advanced single off their upcoming debut album. With cutting riffs and breakneck beats, the song blurs the thin line between total destruction and pure bliss.

A twisted retelling of Genesis where creation is born from darkness, not divinity. Light becomes a weapon of deceit, innocence withers, and chaos reigns as the world is shaped by corruption—marking the true beginning of the end.
