This album held zero interest for me in the 80's. Perhaps it was the general sound of the era in popular music that made my skin crawl. Anything closely associated with it made me tune out. I'm not totally sure who first told me to revisit it but there is a lot of cool stuff going on it here. Even if you are unfamiliar with this band you have certainly been touched by their legacy and the vocalist, Danny Elfman, who has written the soundtrack to some major movie releases. Wherever you stood previously, this is a fun album to check out. Seriously, it's fun.
