It's almost impossible for me to hear this album without seeing the accompanying film with it. Even if the album is playing audio only, the visual of Pink standing over the crowd and asking the questions intended to divide and isolate flashes through my mind. It would be a hope that others would hear this and understand there is no way to have war without suffering. Be whichever side you choose, there is no happy ending for everyone and no one way to cope with the effects of it. Greed takes us down a dark path. More importantly, it showcases how group thinking can guide us down an even darker road without realizing it.
