If I found myself in a medieval landscape, wandering the wooded hillside, The Ghost of Badon Hill by Sergeant Thunderhoof would be the soundtrack to this dream sequence.
On the wind a bird slowly takes flight. Looking down upon the lands as it searches with an eye of scorn upon man and its uncontrolled demolition upon Mother Earth. In a place of such powerful presence they choose to kill, maim and destroy. There is no harmony with what nature has provided for all to cherish. The eye sees them replace lush green fields with burnt embers, charred forests and battle armor. The constant urge to destroy, conquer and claim ownership has pushed them into a sad space of ultimate demise.
Within the sounds of this album there is a feeling of hopeful strength, accomplishment and focus that we can overcome this tragedy before it has been fully written.
