The album cover cracked me up when I first found this record. Thankfully the band name, Sigur Ros, was already a familiar one through researching artists in the post-rock world. No clue what is going on with the lyrics and it does not matter. Like many of my favorite albums, the language is either indecipherable or it's a language foreign to my ear. The soft delivery of the music is as rewarding as the instant laugh from the album cover. This remains one of my favorite releases by the band and reminds me of slow, sleepy evenings in the fall.
