In my opinion it would be the ultimate in appreciation for the music world to see your band as a one of a kind, a pioneer of sound and someone at the forefront of big changes in the music world. All of these can be said regarding Sonic Youth. As unstable as it seems at times, there is a true beauty within this band. Sonic Youth remain a majestic unicorn of sounds 40 years after their first studio album.
