Stone Temple Pilots - Core LP
This album is easy to overplay. 30 years after its original release it still sounds terrific. The overall production is massive and the songwriting really lends itself the ability to crank up the volume without second guessing. Though my choices never kept me following the band as closely as the majority of grunge fans, this debut has always had my respect. There is something special in the water here.
