Somewhere on paper there stands a claim that Sun Ra was born in 1914 as Herman Poole Blount. Those of us who know the truth know that Sun Ra was an astral traveller who came to earth from Saturn to expand our minds and show us the ways in which unknown companions attain connections and can interact to achieve greatness. His canvas was jazz and many like minded and confused individuals of earth heard the call that is continuing to ring out through the universe.
