Swans are an endless source of inspiration to me. On any given day it is very possible to pick an album from their discography that fits the mood. From harsh industrial, somber acoustic, beautiful dissonance to subtle ambience, they have touched on so many different spirits in the musical landscape and managed to perform at the peak of quality in all of them. Though this album may not be for everyone, those who are open to Swans with extensive listener dedication will find the pending reward. There is no such thing as a quick listen in the Swans universe.
