Born out of a turbulent time, 1943 by The Gray Goo chooses to take the listener on a journey of genre warped excitement.
Like Alice through the looking glass, this is a bizarre world where things are bright and colorful yet something strange is consistently at play. The overall experience feels as though the listener is drifting through a strange liar. Opening new doors at random and discovering new sounds within each. Nothing feels disconnected, which makes listening playful and fun.
Expect the unexpected and you will be fine.
