When someone informed me of a band called Tomahawk I should check out, I had no clue it was going to be something that would redefine the nature of my musical interest with the players involved. Being a fan of The Jesus Lizard, Helmet, Mr. Bungle, well, this seemed like a no brainer. Turns out, this sent me back down a rabbit hole revisiting all of these groups and solidified my enjoyment of Tomahawk. They stand on their own.
