Onawa by white orange slowly lures the listener in with a subtle, psychedelic touch.
As the intro steadily fades into the song, the tone is immediately set. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Though it steadies itself with the time to reach peak volume, when the mountain finally explodes there is a relief of tension. There is a psychedelic authority swirling within the aggressively powerful riff base. The vocals are clean and scream out with a type of chant that generates a slight touch of meditation. I'll be looking forward to digging deeper into White Orange.
