In today's somewhat sensitive climate the X-Cops may not have hit with the same humor it did in 1995, if it was new. Then again, maybe we need more GWAR to offset the imbalance. They have always been on the right side of morality, actually. If one takes the time to observe what is actually going on here and not twitch with a knee jerk reaction, they would actually see there is a lot to be learned from the many efforts the band puts into their existence. X-Cops are a great punk/metal/rock hybrid and it was an absolute pleasure to see this reissue listed in the RSD release schedule. RIP Dave Brockie
