Monuments in Ruin - Chapter 306 (music podcast)
The time has changed in Tennessee. Moving forward one hour leaves me writing this in a darker room. Heavy fog and a cool, damp breeze welcomed me as I loaded up the dog and we made our way to work. The porch lights and later office buildings felt an ominous, soft glow as we travelled from the countryside into the city. My morning sketch prompt was "ghosts" today. No surprise that it seemed we passed multiple representations of such in the obscured visual landscape.
Still, this moment felt beautiful in its own way. The dog asleep in the back seat, coffee, the possibility of the unseen lurking only short distances from us at all times.
